According to respondents’ perceptions, parents assigned greater impor- tance to their child’s school certificate, compared to how demanding parents are regarding education in general (Figure 3.5). A comparison of responses between 2010 and 2020 shows that the school certificate (and related school performance) is on average becoming increasingly impor- tant to parents.
