Three important facts can be gleaned fromFigure 1.6. First, in 2020 the larg- est share to report feeling discriminated against did so on the basis of age (40%). Contrary to the typical stereotype thatmodern societies aesthetical- ly and culturally glorify youth (inmusic, movies, novels, beauty magazines, etc.), the data show that, at least in Slovenia, young people do not feel glori- fied but looked down on.
