As a result, Slovenian young people are mostly satisfied with their health, with the share of (very) satisfied being slightly lower than the share of young people who rate their health as (very) good. It is also im- portant that the satisfaction with health among young people has slightly decreased in the last decade – if in 2010 about 80% of young people were (very) satisfied with their health, in 2020 “only” about 70% were. This is somewhat surprising in light of the fact that health self-as- sessment, as shown in the Figure above, has improved slightly over the last decade. At the same time, as can be seen below, young people have even strengthened their healthy living habits. This could mean that their expectations of health in particular increased, and that they are therefore less satisfied with their health today than they would have been a decade ago.
