All this shows that young people are adapting quickly to a flexible labour market. Moreover, the “sacrifice for employment” measured in this way shows that the latter is positively related to education (r = 0.12; p <0.01). More highly educated young people are therefore more willing to make various adjustments in order to improve their employment opportuni- ties. This readiness is also significantly influenced by gender (p <0.05) in terms of greater sacrifices among young women. In light of young people’s indicated awareness of the “nature of the la- bour market”, and of the fears, preferences, and sacrifices they expressed, it was also examined what young people are willing to do to improve their creative and life chances in general.
