Employment and entrepreneurship 137 When it comes to attitudes and preferences towards work, there is also a trend towards a greater preference for private sector employment and a decline in the attractiveness of public sector employment. At this point, it is also important to look at what young people would be willing to do to avoid the risk of unemployment. For this purpose, four statements were used, which have been previously used in the frame- work of the international Employee Attitudes Survey (Stališča o delu – Slovensko javno mnenje 2005/1) (Malnar et al., 2005).
